Workshop

I will hold two kinds of workshops. One is black and white and the other one use color.

Traditionally, Japanese calligraphy uses sumi ink which is black. I love this simple monotone brush world. However, I love the world of color even more. That is why I use color in my calligraphy art. Color gives us up-lifting energy and enhances our imagination, as well. I think it would be fun and beautiful to use color while doing Meditaiton Calligraphy, so here we go! Use your favorite colors and keep on meditaing with stunning inspiration.

ワークショップは2種類。一つは、白黒の世界を楽しむ、文字を書かない瞑想書道。もう一つは書道の伝統的な白黒の世界から離れ、色彩を楽しみながら筆を動かす瞑想書道です。白黒のモノトーンの世界も侘びさびの美しい世界を醸し出しますが、色は私たちの心を躍らせてくれます。様々な気持ちを映し出し、表現させてくれるものです。私は色が大好きで、書道アートにも使い始めました。色と書との融合のきっかけは、大学で取った油絵のクラスでした。それからというもの、私の書の世界には色が住み始めたのです・・・
